As I mentioned in my main post with the Infographics Gallery, I failed to plan and educate myself on accessibility before creating these images and made a huge mistake by putting the text directly on the images. This prevents screen readers from being able to read them and renders the links useless since they can’t be clicked. A mistake, yes, but I have learned a lot from it, and you can bet it’s a mistake that I won’t repeat!
To remedy this for now, I made this page to share detailed descriptions of each image with the transcript of the text that appears on them, as well as the hyperlinks to the sources and suggested further reading (which are now clickable).
