You’re in the right place! I’m a licensed and Marketplace certified independent health insurance broker and I provide personalized guidance at no cost to you.

It’s true. My fees are paid by the insurance companies I represent and those costs are already factored into what they charge for their plans. In other words, there’s no difference in what you’ll pay for your plan if you use a broker or not, but you can save a lot by using one. You can save time, frustration, processing delays, and of course, money (Marketplace subsidies).

I provide help with complex situations that can cause confusion when trying to apply for coverage through the Health Insurance Marketplace® (also known as the Exchange, HealthCare.gov, or Obamacare). 

Will you or anyone in your household be applying without a Social Security number? I can give you direct instructions on what documents you’ll need and how to fill in your application so it doesn’t get delayed due to the SSN being left blank or filled in incorrectly. 

Is it outside of the annual Open Enrollment Period and you need to change coverage because you got married, had or adopted a child, or moved outside of your plan's service area? I can help you look into your options for getting a SEP (Special Enrollment Period). 

In a Marketplace plan already but need to change it because a provider or a prescription you need isn't covered within your network? I can help you find out what your options are for changing that plan or even possibly getting an out-of-network resource covered as in-network for continuity of care. 

Have you received a notice from the Marketplace or your insurer that you disagree with and want to appeal (eligibility for coverage, eligibility for subsidies, denial of coverage for something you think should be covered)? I can act as an advocate on your behalf with the insurance company. I can make sure the paperwork needed to appeal is filled out and submitted correctly and on time for all the deadlines that must be met, as well as track your claim or appeal to make sure it’s handled in a timely manner. 

Did you receive instructions or paperwork from your doctor, hospital, insurance company, or anywhere else that you just don’t understand? I can help with that. There’s no need to worry about making a decision based on something you’re unsure about. Insurance and health care is confusing and I can help you understand it so you can make choices and plans with confidence for you and for your family.
